Why Sabah Divers?
At Sabah Divers, Allan, the managing director of the company, has years of experience teaching students. He wants to pass on this knowledge and skill of teaching to all potential instructors.
Instructors start by becoming a Dive Control Specialists where you will learn advanced physics, physiology and decompression theories. Once you graduate, you can assist instructors in the training of other Basic Open Water Students, teach snorkeling programs and selected Specialty programs, giving you a taste of what is required of an instructor.
If you are comfortable and would like to proceed, you would take the SSI's Open Water Instructor (OWI) course, where you will be empowered to certify Open Water Students, Scuba Updates and Try Scuba programs.
